Money Stillwater — Privacy Policy

This policy applies to the Money Stillwater mobile and web application, published by Stillwater Digital Ltd (package name com.stillwaterdigital.moneyapp).

1. Data we collect

Account data — email address and authentication identifiers used to create and secure your account.
Financial data you enter — budgets, transactions, categories, and notes you record in the app.
Device and diagnostic data — app version, crash reports, and basic performance data used to diagnose faults.

Money Stillwater does not request access to your contacts, photos, precise location, SMS, or call logs.

2. How we use it

To provide budgeting, tracking, and reporting features to you.
To authenticate you and keep your account secure.
To fix crashes and improve performance and reliability.

We do not sell your data, and we do not use your financial entries for advertising or profiling.

3. Sharing

Your data is shared only with the infrastructure providers that host the app’s database, authentication, and crash reporting, strictly to deliver the service. We may disclose data where legally required.

4. Security

Data is transmitted over encrypted connections (TLS) and stored with encryption at rest. Access controls restrict account data so it is available only to you and to authorised personnel when required for support.

5. Retention and deletion

We retain your account and financial entries for as long as your account remains active. You may delete individual entries in the app at any time. To delete your account and all associated data, email stillwater.app.dev@gmail.com from your registered address with the subject “Money Stillwater account deletion”. Requests are completed within 30 days, after which backups expire on a rolling 30-day cycle.

6. Children

Money Stillwater is not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect data from them.

7. Your rights and contact

You may request access to, correction of, or export of your data at any time by emailing stillwater.app.dev@gmail.com. UK residents may also complain to the Information Commissioner’s Office. Developer: Stillwater Digital Ltd, registered in the United Kingdom.
